We are looking to train folks who will be available to fill in for current staff now and will be able to continue working with us after the Summer help returns to school in mid August and the Fall.


Hosts, Kitchen Staff (dish washers/food runners) - must be 16 or over
Line Cooks & Subsitute Servers/Bartenders - must be 18 or over

The Franklin Inn is a community restaurant where its all everyone's job to make sure the customer has a great experience. All jobs at the Inn are a bit physical in nature and require you to be on your feet, some lifting, steps, multi-tasking, team work, cleaning, customer service skills, working evenings and weekends with a smile....these jobs are rewarding and compenstating for the right individiuals...especially those who don't like sitting behind a desk.

Our staff is a family with a mix of individuals who have their own reasons for working at the Franklin Inn. For some working at the Inn has provided a full time livelyhood for many years while others are working their way through school or moon lighting for extra income. Others might be saving for school, a car or their next great adventure. Maybe, for you, it is the chance to learn something new or hone, sharpen and share your current skills. Flexiblilty: Life & special events happen and we try to accomodate your requests. We'll work with your school classes, day job, or your family's schedule. There is also an opportunity to cross train to fill in for other staff who may need the night off.

Compensation: Based on experience but for most entry level kitchen and host positions the starting rate is $10 (training with no experience)-$12 per hour plus tips for some positions.

No more working holidays: You'll have off on Sundays plus major holidays. (Christmas, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day).

Your feedback is valued: We'd love to hear your ideas for making the Inn better. New specials and menu items, marketing ideas, and logistical solutions are welcome.
